More beach pictures

I realize now that I should have done this post first, but I'm still getting the hang of this!
Our attempt at beach pictures--Courtney actually got some good ones of our girls with her camera, but I don't have them yet. Mamie just tried to eat sand while Lilly posed.

Mamie laughing at the water with daddy.

Lilly looking at the "loud" water

Lilly and Cal--best buddies (partners in crime)!

Mamie and Will hanging out in the shade at the beach.
She's probably giving him tips on how to rip his hat off--notice she has just thrown hers off for the hundredth time!

Mamie loves her float!

Lilly swimming all by herself (with the help of water wings)! She was so proud of herself.

The whole gang--Lilly, Mamie, Cal, Lexi, and Will

Hey there girlie! It's great to see how you're doing - your girls are absolutely beautiful!! I'm sure you are crazy busy, but I hope you find the time to keep us updated. As a new mom, it has been great to see what everyone else is up to and how they are handling the many challenges of parenthood. Hope to hear more from you soon!

Glad you started a blog again. Keep it up! We will all enjoy seeing your little family. The girls are precious. I would love to meet them. I know the beach trip was fun but busy...the list of things to take to the beach is exhausting. I don't know how you remember to put on your own sunscreen!

My parents have made Huntsville their home-away-from-home a few weeks a month. Jason lives there, and we have a warehouse so it gives them some meaning to being in that location. Charlie and I love visiting them, and we went to Twickenham the last time we were up. Hope to catch you one weekend.

Your pics of the girls are so sweet. I completely agree that a Florida vacation with children isn't relaxing just yet . . . but maybe in a few years it will be! (at least a little!)

Hey Lyla- Laurie (Garrison) Frantz here! So glad you are now a blogger...and I want you to know that I can totally relate to your last post about needing a vacation from your vaction. We went to the beach this year with another couple and our combined 4 kids and it was complete chaos the whole time (especially while the husbands were off playing golf) But I also totally agree the trip is worth it and wouldn't trade those memories for the world!

yes, ESPECIALLY while the husbands are off playing golf!

You are so popular! Now you really need to keep the blog up. I'm freaking out about how big Lilly is, and she is the spitting image of you! Does she have your personality, too? I'm glad you guys had such a great time. Looking forward to seeing your girls in October! Love ya!
