teeth

We've had a lot of talk about teeth here in our house lately. Lilly decided a couple of months ago that she either wants to be a dentist or hygienist when she grows up and loves to talk about it to everyone. She has a mask, glove, and some of the rubber attachments from her last trip to the dentist and loves to play dentist with Mamie. She has also had a tooth (her first loose tooth) flopping around in her mouth for over a week that we have been DYING to pull out, but she has been guarding like it was her life. Last week was Mamie's first trip to have her teeth cleaned. Mamie was very excited. I had to work, so Jon took them both and I ran over for a few minutes to make sure she was doing OK and take a few pictures. She was a very happy little patient.
Reading a book and waiting...

Mamie (and Ellie, her little build-a-bear puppy) sitting in the chair like such a big girl

She looks so little in that chair.

AND FINALLY...

She lost her tooth! Jon pulled it while I was running an errand tonight, so I missed all the excitement. She is so proud and excited about the tooth fairy's visit.

My big girl lost her first tooth!

Lyla...had to catch up on your blog today. Your Mom was telling me about Mamie refusing to eat out of the "dinna plate"! That was adorable ...I've thought of it several times since yesterday and grinned...too cute! Lilly losing that tooth means they are growing too fast! I love the blog!
